Nick and Nora’s is the ultimate cocktail and champagne bar in Parramatta. It sits 26 floors above Parramatta, on top of the V by Crown building, and it’s the most glamorous thing happening in Western Sydney after dark. With its 1930s New York concept everything is built around Nick and Nora Charles. Think roaming saxophonists, a Champagne Tower pour at 5pm, and live jazz. There’s a 450+ bottle whiskey list if that’s more your speed, plus oysters, caviar and a charcuterie board built for sharing. And the best part… their champagne glass shoeys.

Goji Black Bar
Goji Black skips the vintage nostalgia and goes straight for sleek, moody, and modern. It’s Japanese and Italian Asian fusion, think signature cocktails and genuine Japanese Asahi alongside an Italian Asian fusion menu built for sharing. DJs spin from Thursday through Saturday, so it’s less “quiet drink” and more “night out that starts early”. Keep in mind there is a dress code.

Here’s the thing about VIP Karaoke Bar most people go straight for the private rooms, but the bar area does all the same heavy lifting on its own. Theo’s sits on top of Astina Suites and leans hard into a Mediterranean, open air feel, with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains, an infinity pool, and a seasonal menu that changes with the weather. It’s built to catch a sunset, there’s not much better than watching the sun drop behind the Blue Mountains with a cocktail in hand, poolside. With Happy hour daily from 3-6pm and weekly events it’s the perfect place for an early night hangout.

Mr Watkins
Mr Watkins does double duty on High Street, a café by day, an old-fashioned bar and restaurant by night. The whole space is designed around Watkin Tench, the explorer Penrith is named after, with a speakeasy style setting, classic wooden interiors, cozy lighting, and a vintage feel that runs through the whole venue. The food leans share plate and comfort classics with a solid range of craft beers, cocktails, and a curated wine list. There’s weekly trivia and live music too, so it’s not just a sit and sip spot

Jinja Rooftop
Jinja sits on Level 2 of Oran Park Hotel and is the adults only counterpart to the family friendly precinct below. The Pickled Bear
Tucked into Lexington Drive, The Pickled Bear is a proper small bar, cozy, intimate, and built around genuinely good cocktails rather than flash. The pork belly bites are the standout, along with a charcuterie share plate for the table. Elton Chongs
From the same team behind Mr Watkins, Elton Chong is a completely different beast. A dive bar that takes you back to the late 80s with a range of arcade games, set inside an old Korean restaurant on High Street. It’s unapologetically inspired by the 80s arcade aesthetic, so expect a rougher, louder, more playful energy than your typical cocktail bar. Music is the backbone of the place with a rotating lineup of heavy metal, indie, rock and punk music with local and touring acts on weekly. Plus, they serve amazing, juicy burgers for an easy feed.

Heritage Lounge
Heritage Lounge sits on Level 1 of a genuinely historic building. It’s a 1928 structure of architectural significance on Church Street and leans fully into the era. With opulent décor, dim lighting, and signature cocktails carrying gangster themed names like the Counterfeit Espresso and Bankers Charm, It’s perfect for an elegant night out.

Lady Banks Rooftop
Perched 10 floors up on top of Flinders Centre, Lady Banks isn’t just big, it’s the largest rooftop bar in Sydney.
