Sapori Toscani

Sapori Toscani

Western Sydney’s most loved Italian secret just got a whole lot easier to find. Sapori Toscani has officially opened its doors in Rouse Hill — and if you have been following this family-run gem since their days as a home shop in Schofields, you already know how special this place is. For everyone else, you are about to discover your new favourite Italian restaurant.

From a Home Shop in Schofields to a Restaurant of Their Own

What started as a humble home-based operation in Schofields has grown into something truly special, driven by a loyal and passionate Western Sydney community that has been behind Sapori Toscani from day one. The rave reviews from their home kitchen spoke for themselves — and now they finally have a permanent home where everyone can experience it properly.

Meet Chef Alessandro

At the heart of Sapori Toscani is Chef Alessandro, who hails from Livorno in Tuscany, Italy — a region world-renowned for its exceptional food and wine. Alessandro grew up cooking alongside his Nonna and Mamma, and it was in that family kitchen where his passion for Italian cuisine and the art of pizza making was born. After training with the best in Tuscany, he made his way to Australia with one mission — to give people a truly authentic Italian dining experience. He has absolutely delivered.

The Food: Certified Italian, No Shortcuts

The pizza at Sapori Toscani is certified Italian — proper technique, proper ingredients, no compromises. One customer put it best: “My wife is Italian and very patriotic about her food. This is legit. By far the best pizza I’ve had in Sydney in a while.” That kind of endorsement says everything.

The menu goes well beyond pizza. Here is a taste of what is on offer:

  • Tagliatelle all’Agnello — house-made tagliatelle with slow-cooked lamb shoulder Napoletana sauce, finished with parmesan and parsley
  • Tagliatelle al Ragu — tagliatelle in a traditional Tuscan beef and pork ragu, finished with parmesan and parsley
  • Gamberi — San Marzano tomato, prawns, stracciatella and fior di latte cheese, fresh garlic, chilli and parsley
  • Calabrese — San Marzano tomato, ’nduja spicy sausage, black olives, roasted capsicum, buffalo ricotta and fresh chilli

The menu also features antipasti, fresh salads, authentic pasta and pizza, and desserts to finish. A proper Italian dining experience right here in Rouse Hill.
