Rouse Hill Town Centre’s $200M Expansion Is Open

Rouse Hill Town Centre’s $200 million expansion opens on Thursday 29 October, adding more than 50 new stores and over 10,500 sqm of retail space. It’s the centre’s biggest transformation since it opened in 2007, and it makes Rouse Hill one of the best shopping destinations in North West Sydney.

The new precinct brings big-name fashion, a serious food line-up, beauty, wellness and four mini majors. Here’s what’s landing and why it’s worth the trip.

Fashion and beauty

The fashion line-up is the headline act. Sheike, Glassons, Country Road, Forever New, Decjuba, Universal Store and General Pants Co all join the centre, alongside streetwear from Neverland and Ghanda and performance wear from Adidas and Elite Eleven.

MECCA moves in for the beauty crowd, while Billini covers shoes and Mimco, Swarovski and Michael Hill take care of accessories and jewellery. Peter Alexander lands for sleepwear and gifting, and Cotton On returns as a bigger mega store. Rebel also reopens in an expanded space.

Food and drink

The dining mix is reason enough to visit. Master Mini Hotpot delivers hotpot to your table on a rotating conveyor belt, and Dopa serves Japanese comfort food in a retro milk bar setting.

There’s Vietnamese street food at An Viet, Malaysian at Makan, Japanese at Densha, burgers at Flipp and schnitzels at Schnitz. For something sweet, there’s Anita Gelato, chimney cakes at Kurtosh and açaí at Thirsty Monkey. Coffee is covered by Sup Brew and Lumina Cafe.

Opening celebrations, 29 October to 1 November

The centre is marking the launch with four days of free live entertainment, workshops and roving performers. It kicks off with a ribbon cutting on Thursday 29 October, and Saturday 31 October wraps up with an evening LED show.

The centrepiece is The Gathering, a giant inflatable art installation by Craig & Karl, with a scavenger hunt through the new precinct for the chance to win a gift. Spend $75 or more in the centre and you can claim a free iced matcha, limited to 250 a day.

Need to know

A new valet parking service starts on 29 October, and the customer service desk has moved to a new spot in the centre. Check live carpark capacity on the centre’s website before you head out, as the opening weekend will be busy.
