Consistently good coffee, next-level bagels and a matcha menu that people rave about . The vibe is relaxed, welcoming and very much a locals’ café — you walk in and there’s always a friendly face and a bit of buzz. The menu is generous, well-priced and easy to come back to again and again.

Located in Parramatta Park. The setting is genuinely beautiful inside and out, with efficient, polished service even during busy periods. The menu is made for sharing — the wood-fired bread with whipped labneh is a great place to start. Save room for dessert because the tiramisu is generous and well worth ordering. we can’t rave about this place enough — just go, book ahead, and see why it’s considered one of the best restaurants in Parramatta.

This café is clearly a local favourite. Seating on the front patio created a relaxed, easy brunch atmosphere, with food that was fresh, well-executed and consistently delivered. The coffee offering is a standout, with multiple blends available and prepared exceptionally well. It’s a venue people return to time and time again and one that firmly sits in the must-visit category for brunch and coffee.

Percy Plunkett is a great pick for a brunch if you’re after somewhere with real character. Set inside a converted cottage, the space has an endearing charm and a relaxed, welcoming feel, even when it’s busy. The menu covers all the breakfast staples — eggs benedict, chicken katsu, milkshakes, burgers, chips and solid coffee. Staff are friendly and attentive. It’s also pet friendly, which adds to the easy, local vibe.

Maison Coffee has quickly become a go-to brunch spot and it’s easy to see why. The rotating specials have built a bit of a cult following — and the food is consistently well done without overcomplicating things. Vine & Grind is one of Liverpool’s go-to café spots for good reason It’s the kind of place that gets it right every time. Mr Watkins is one of those venues that wins you over the moment you step inside. By day it’s a café, by night it shifts into a restaurant/bar.
