URBNSURF
Score ocean-like waves without ever leaving Western Sydney. URBNSURF is Sydney’s only surf park, running sunrise sessions through to late-night surfs under lights, so “let’s go on a date” can mean 7am coffee and waves or a Saturday night surf followed by drinks. Book a lesson together, then dry off and head to RAFI for cocktails or Sandy’s for something more laid-back. Not surfing? A $10 Spectator Pass gets you cabana views of your date wiping out instead.

Cinema date nights just got an upgrade. It’s not your average movie date, the screen wraps around you for a full-on cinema experience. HOYTS Blacktown is the only ScreenX cinema in Western Sydney, where the picture wraps onto the side walls for a full 270-degree view and up to 300% more visuals during the big scenes. Practically a theme park you can squeeze into a Tuesday night. Entertainment Park offers indoor electric go-karts hitting up to 80km/h, six bowling lanes, 150+ arcade games, VR, and racing simulators, all under one roof near Bankstown. Race your date on the track then settle the score over bowling and a drink at the licensed café. Open till 10pm every night, so it works just as well after work as it does on a weekend. Go-to destination for date night. Kiss My Axe will straight-up call itself a date night idea with axe throwing, glow darts, pool tables, suction archery, and Mario Kart for nonstop fun and entertainment. An instructor runs you through the safety basics before anyone throws, then it’s pizza and drinks while you nurse a bruised ego. Bonus points for landing a bullseye in front of them.

Push your limits at a revolutionary obstacle park. TruNinja is the date that reveals who’s really competitive. Take on the warped wall, the jump tower and 100-plus obstacles suspended over foam pits, then watch each other faceplant with love.
