If you’re after an adrenaline rush that isn’t just another dinner and drinks, Eastern Creek Karting is where you need to go. It’s the only venue in Sydney running the super-fast 13HP Sodi RT8 go karts. These bad boys hit over 80km/h and the fleet runs on high-grip tires and a Boral bitumen track built for a real racing feel, not a slowed-down tourist version.

Once a year, the venue combines its two circuits into an 1800m layout, Australia’s largest karting track, so keep an eye on their socials if you want to catch that window!

The Karts

Eastern Creek has a variety of go kart options depending on who’s racing:

13HP Sodi RT8 & RT10 Karts: the fast ones, for drivers 16+
13HP Adult Double Karts: for two adults in one kart
Junior 6HP Karts (12–15 years): solo junior sessions
Cadet Karts (8–11 years): solo, in their own group session
Adult + Junior Double Karts: for 6– 15 year olds driving with an adult

What to Know Before You Book

Drivers on the adult karts must be 16+, with valid photo ID.
Under 18s need a responsible adult with ID on-site for the booking.
Weight limit on adult karts is approximately 120kg.
Fully enclosed shoes are required, shoulders must be covered, and no scarves, hoods, singlets, or loose clothing.
Helmets and balaclavas are provided, or bring your own full-face helmet if it meets Australian Standards.
GoPros aren’t allowed mounted to helmets, but you can mount one to the kart itself.
The venue doesn’t operate in the rain, wet weather sessions get rescheduled or converted to a gift card, not refunded.
Vending machines are on-site, and you’re welcome to bring your own food.
Velocity Kart Shop operates on the premises if you’re after gear.
